We think it's anything that makes our clients successful. That is our job. And we make the website, e-commerce, web application or rich internet application that makes that happen.
Then we think of ways to promote those stuffs. It might be through a webvertising or emailing campaign, a blog strategy, a buzz or word-of-mouth campaign, a viral or guerilla campaign, a web 2.0 seeding strategy, a video Podcast, YouTube or Joost channel, product placement in a video game, a SecondLife island, an Alternate Reality Game, ambiant marketing, a ChatBot on MSN, a screensaver, a downloadable Apollo software, widgets, gadgets, or something we can't even imagine yet.
Every person at Emakina and every client we have needs to be aware that while e-commerce and corporate websites are important and will be state-of-the-art, what's arguably as important is the stuff that orbits around the website. Like the footers on the company e-mail. The viral video we seed to communities. The idea for a great new online service. The DVD every consumer gets handed to them on an event. The cool new interactive online game. The SMS, MMS or voicemail we send to every member of a community. The flyposting campaign we cover the country with.
